Cinis Vase
The Cinis Vase explores the dialogue between glass and wood by turning workshop waste into a mould for glassblowing. Small leftover pieces of board material are assembled with their profiles facing inward, creating a unique rectangular mould. During the blowing process, the hot glass chars the wood, transferring its structure onto the surface of the vase.
The resulting traces make the making process visible, while giving discarded material a new purpose. Cinis highlights the transformative nature of glassblowing and explores wood not only as waste, but as a temporary and expressive mould material.
